Thank you so much. It’s quite a struggle learning this style but I have just started and find that it really opens up one’s understanding of harmony. This is priceless. How can I get to crack this style? Would really love to.

Carl,

Can you recommend any books that teach this style of playing? Or that simply have many compositions noted up like this? I checked out one “Jazz Standards for Solo Guitar” book that I was hopeful about but which ended up a real disappointment. What you’re doing here — small chords with strategic voicings, interspersed by even single melodic notes — THAT’S exactly what I’m looking for.

Any thoughts?
