Sliding On Guitar For Beginners

This video guitar lesson focuses on the fundamentals of sliding notes and chords on the guitar.

Guitar slides are an essential technique for both rhythm and lead playing so pay close attention to this one.

Probably the most important thing you need to direct your attention to when doing slides is what your thumb is doing. I spend a lot of time in the video lesson showing you close-ups of the thumb so you will understand exactly how to practice.

After doing the exercises where I play them in the lesson, try moving to other parts of the fretboard and attempting slides from one note to the next gradually getting farther and farther apart.

Have Fun!!
