Dr. Feelgood Guitar Lesson – Motley Crue

In this Dr. Feelgood guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this incredible hard rock masterpiece from Motley Crue in its entirety.

The tuning is D standard tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, D G C F A D.

"Dr. Feelgood" has long been one of Motley Crue's most successful songs. It contains probably the biggest and baddest riff of their career and is just absolutely blistering throughout.

The solo section contains a multitude of techniques including fast legatos, alternate picking, screaming harmonics and the classic tapping section. The solos are just pure Mick Mars, doing his thing, at the peak of his powers.

"Dr. Feelgood" is truly a masterpiece of the hard rock genre that spanned from the from the early 80's to the early 90's. This is Motley Crue at their absolute best so don't miss out on this note-for-note breakdown of the entire song with all of it's pummeling riffs and blazing solos.

Have Fun! Carl...
