I have just added the latest note-for-note song lesson to the Song Lessons page with Joe Satriani’s “Tears In The Rain”.

This is a beautiful piece of instrumental acoustic music (even though I teach it on electric ). It has a simple finger-picking pattern than can also be flat-picked, and some very nice chord changes as well.

A few chords in this piece may present a challenge to you because of the stretches involved, but overall this gorgeous piece of music is relatively simple to play.
