Well I finally ended this weeks poll after letting it go a couple of extra days. Every time I checked the results to find a winner the Steve Vai and Bach piece were both tied. So since both pieces got such great support, I am going to do BOTH of them this week.
I was pleasantly surprised that there was so much interest in the Bach. We seem to have some well cultured people here at GuitarLessons365. LOL..
So I will do the Bach piece first and follow it with “Eugene’s Trick Bag” later this week. Stretch those fingers out, both of these pieces are killers.
For the new Song Lesson poll I have included the next closest finisher Muse’s “Hysteria”. I will once again show all of the guitar parts as well as arrange the cool bass part for guitar as well.
Second we have Jimi Hendrix’s “The Wind Cries Mary”. It has been requested a lot but I didn’t want to put it in the last poll since it seems all other songs don’t have much of a chance as long as there is a Hendrix tune in the poll. LOL. But hey, if that’s what you guys want, that is what you get!
Next we have the first solo that I ever learned on the guitar, Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight”. Some very beautiful guitar parts in this one. I of course will teach all the rhythms parts as well.
Fourth we have Pink Floyd’s classic “Comfortably Numb” from The Wall album. David Gilmour is one of my favorite guitar players, and the solos in this song are absolute classics.
And lastly we have Joe Satriani’s “Summer Song”. I have had quite a few request’s for Satriani stuff, so I thought I would start with his most popular tune.
So there ya go, get your votes in fast, I want to see a lot more votes in the poll in the future! Remember, you don’t have to be a Premium subscriber to vote in the poll!!
Stay tuned for the Bach piece coming in a few days!! Cheers!! Carl…
