John Mayer is a player that is very frequently requested here at GuitarLessons365.com and I have to say that there are some very nice Hendrix inspired parts to this song. It is relatively easy to play and straight forward so it can be practiced by virtually any level of player. The most challenging aspect may be the use of thumb chords throughout the song, but even if you have no experience with that I think you will find it quite natural after a small amount of practice.
