Stevie Ray Vaughan Style Open String Pentatonics “Lick Of The Week”

In Intermediate Guitar Lessons | on July, 19, 2010 | by | 6 Comments

In this installment of our “Lick Of The Week” video guitar lesson series you will learn a lick that uses a couple of aspects of SRV’s pentatonic and blues scale technique.

This type of lick can be used in TONS of blues and rock songs, and I hope by the end of the video you will learn a thing or two about expanding upon a lick that you already know to create new ideas.

Keep your “Lick Of The Week” requests coming, I really want to hear about what everyone wants to see.

Thanks!! Carl..
